Bill Eigner

Mike Krenn

Mike recently launched The BeachHead – a San Diego office in San Francisco, built to connect startups to both venture capital and customers.  Mike was a founder of both the Tech Coast Angels and CommNexus (now EvoNexus).  While at DLA Piper, he founded the Venture Pipeline group ( – a free service that matches entrepreneurs with capital sources nationally. He has served on boards for Connect, The MIT Forum, the San Diego Software Council, and numerous other organizations.

During his career, Mike has been fortunate to work with hundreds of companies and entrepreneurs, helping more than 50 companies raise start-up capital, in excess of $100M.  Venture capital firms such as Sequoia, Trinity, Interwest, Maveron, Revolution and DFJ have funded companies presented to them by Mike. He also has experience (and empathy) with start-ups, having worked as a COO at a privately-funded technology start-up.

Jason Dupre

Advisor - Private Equity/M&A

Jason Dupre is Vice-President/Acquisitions at BCMS North America based in Dallas/Fort Worth Texas. He has been involved in all aspects of the M&A transaction focused on deal execution, management, diligence and negotiation. During this time, he has successfully executed deals in a wide variety of industries including: business services, insurance, business intelligence, utilities, engineering, distribution, oil and gas, industrial, and healthcare. Jason’s analytical and consulting background includes experience in business valuation services, company restructurings, private placements and estate planning.

Prior to joining BCMS, he served as an associate with ValueScope, Inc., where he worked closely with public and private companies assisting them in reporting services including fairness opinions, purchase price allocations and impairment testing. Jason began his career as a legal consultant in support of expert witness testimony of economic damages and transactional advisory services for small to medium sized companies. A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Jason earned his MBA from Texas Christian University and his B.S. in Finance from Louisiana State University.

Richard Bollinger

Richard Bollinger is a Managing Director of CapX Partners, and has over 15+ years’ experience working with growing companies.  He is well versed in understanding the debt needs for late stage venture opportunities to established lower middle market businesses.

CapX Partners is a private debt fund headquartered in Chicago, where Richard joined in 2002.  In 2005, Richard opened up the firm’s west coast office and relocated to San Diego where he is responsible for business development and underwriting for the Southwest, West and Northwest United States.
